Handmade Carnival Cupie Doll - Christy

My fondest memories of visiting the Royal Melbourne Show as a child was coming home each year with 'dolly on a stick'. Back in 2013 I created a batch of my own dolls inspired by those from my childhood and these are my remaining girls.

Christy wears a gold bonnet featuring striking streaks of red and green glitter, a red glittered bodice, and a two-tiered green tulle and red netting skirt trimmed with gold, red and green ribbons. Christy is definitely decked out ready for Christmas!
