Handmade Carnival Cupie Doll - Angel

My fondest memories of visiting the Royal Melbourne Show as a child was coming home each year with 'dolly on a stick'. Back in 2013 I created a batch of my own dolls inspired by those from my childhood and these are my remaining girls.

Angel wears a silver ribbon fascinator upon her head and sports a pair of silvery metallic wings. She has a red glittered bodice, and a full burgundy organza skirt trimmed with silver ribbon.  She would look gorgeous atop a Christmas tree.
